We believe that there is only one true and living God who exists eternally in three persons. God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit each of whom have distinct personal attributes but without division of nature, essence, or being. We believe that because of God’s great love, His great desire is for all people to be saved. (II Peter 3:9)
We believe that God the Father watches over His creation with care and wisdom. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving. He is in control and will carry out all of His plans for His creation according to His will.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s one and only Son. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the sins of the world, rose to life on the third day, is the only way of salvation, and is coming again. We believe that Jesus is truly “The Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, and is at work in our lives and world. The Holy Spirit reveals truth, convicts of sin and draws people to salvation in Christ, cultivates Christian character, empowers and enables us for service, and comforts and guides God’s people.
We believe that all people are created in God’s image, are valued, and are loved by God. Unfortunately, our choice to sin has damaged our relationship with God and others, and the consequence has been separation from God. Our greatest need is to be forgiven and put in the right relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
We believe that salvation is totally and completely a gift of God’s Grace. Salvation is not earned through our good works, merited, or deserved in any way. Salvation is the work and gift of our loving God. Salvation only comes through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and in Him alone.
We believe the church is a body of baptized believers who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The church gathers to worship God, to serve Him, and to share His Good News with the world.
We believe the Bible. It is "God-Breathed" and is therefore the Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
