At Lower Creek we believe in the importance of children's ministry. As a result, children's ministry at Lower Creek is not an afterthought but a priority. That is why we offer so many different ministries for children and their families. Some of these ministries include Sunday School, Mountain Expedition, Team Kid, Children's Choir, Children In Action, and Bible Skills, Thrills, and Drills. We believe that the time we have with children each week is valuable, so we do our best to be good stewards with this time. Our purpose is not to babysit but rather to teach the Truths of God. With each ministry, program, and activity we strive to teach children about God's great love for them and that following God and His way, is the path of life. Having this goal requires us to be focused and purposeful. Our staff and volunteers work very hard to ensure that our children's ministries are "Focused on Christ, pointing children and their families to Him." This foundational statement guides all we do in children's ministry at Lower Creek.

• Children can learn the Truths of God  (Mark 10:15)
• Children need to be taught the Truths of God early in life  (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, II Timothy 3:14-17)
• Children can serve God and participate in the life and ministries of the church  (I Timothy 4:12)
• Children learn best in a safe and secure environment
